At the moment we have not set a time limit, so you can scan an IP address as many times as you want, for now. However, please remember to use the service ethically, do not submit or re-scan an IP address too frequently because it may slow down the system performances.
There are no problems if you place links or "shorcuts" to IPVoid services on your products, but you cannot directly integrate IPVoid services (with automated queries) in your commercial or free projects. You can place text links or buttons that redirect to IPVoid website.
You may temporarily store information gathered by IPVoid somewhere, but you cannot sell/resell/transfer for a value that data. The information shown by IPVoid may be copyright of IPVoid, of different DNSBL services and/or of other web services and you may not use that data commercially without prior contacting them directly.
When you submit an IP address on the IP Blacklist Check service you grant us the permission to do anything with the IP addresses submitted. We may share them with third-party security companies, security researchers or sell the database of IP addresses, and so on.
As of now we do not offer an API to query IPVoid's service. Maintaining an API service that handles millions of queries per day requires a lot of work, servers, and maintenance. In case we receive many requests we may discuss about the possibility to create one.
IPVoid is not responsible for false positive detections, this service is used to gather information about an IP address by querying external services that are not managed by IPVoid. All the false positive issues should be addressed directly with the company or individual that owns the scanning engine (you can contact them via email).
You should contact us at info[at]novirusthanks.org and send us some details about your service. Please note that we require that your scanning engine is fast, it should take no more than 5 seconds for scanning an IP and it should support thousands of queries per day.
Actually we do not offer this option. IPVoid uses free resources to gather information about an IP address, such as the server geolocation, the ISP and the ASN details. This service simply uses built-in or third-party free and publicly queryable resources to get IP address information.
Please feel free to contact us at info[at]novirusthanks.org and send us a detailed information about the bug or malfunctioning you have found. If possible try to include also a screenshot of the problem, it should help us to reproduce the bug more easily and fix it.
