About this tool
IPv6 addresses are hard to spot and even harder to deduplicate by eye because one address has many spellings. The IPv6 Address Extractor matches all valid notations, including compressed and IPv4-mapped forms, normalises them to RFC 5952 and returns a unique list. Use the IPv4 extractor for the v4 side.

Frequently asked questions
What about addresses in brackets or with a zone?
Brackets are ignored; zone identifiers (%eth0) are not part of the match.
Why normalise?
The same address can be written many ways (leading zeros, :: placement, case). Normalising makes deduplication reliable.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
