About this tool
The Epoch Converter is the daily bridge between machine time and human time: paste a timestamp from a log, a token or a database and read it as UTC, as your local time, ISO 8601, RFC 2822, day of year and ISO week, with a "3 hours ago" style relative value. Paste a date instead and the timestamp in seconds and milliseconds comes back. All conversions happen in your browser.

Which date formats can I type?
ISO 8601 (2024-05-01T12:00:00Z), RFC 2822 and anything your browser's Date parser understands.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
