About this tool
Where a website is hosted matters for performance, for data-protection compliance and for investigations into fraudulent sites. The Website Location finder resolves the domain to its server address, then geolocates that address to show the hosting country, region and city, the ISP and ASN, and the approximate position on a map.
Basically, it is the geolocation counterpart of the other tool Who Is Hosting a Website: one answers "where", the other "who". Both use the DNS Lookup and IP Reputation APIs by APIVoid.

Key features of this tool
External lookups
The lookup runs from our infrastructure, so you see what the public internet sees without exposing your own IP address or network.
Fast and cached
Results come back in seconds; identical lookups are cached for a few minutes to keep the service fast and responsive for everyone.
Easy to reuse
Every result block can be copied with one click or downloaded as a text file, and tables can also be saved as CSV for your reports.
Frequently asked questions
The location shown is not the company's country
Websites are hosted wherever their provider has data centres. A French company on AWS Ireland or behind Cloudflare will show up in Ireland or at a Cloudflare edge, not in France.
What if the site uses a CDN?
You will see the location of the CDN node nearest to our servers, not the origin. The Who Is Hosting tool will name the CDN provider.
Which IP is used when a domain has several?
The first A record returned; the Find Website IP tool lists all of them.
