About this tool
The Random Bitcoin Address Generator creates strings with the shape of real BTC addresses in the three common formats, for populating test databases, screenshots and form validation tests without exposing real wallets. They are deliberately invalid at the checksum level. The Bitcoin address extractor finds addresses in existing text.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send bitcoin to these addresses?
No. They have no valid checksum and no private key behind them; a wallet will reject them and any funds sent would be lost. They are for UI, parser and database testing only.
Why do they look right?
They use the correct prefix, alphabet (Base58 or bech32) and length of each address type, which is all a regex or input validator usually checks.
Are these values truly random?
They are produced with the browser's cryptographic random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so they are unpredictable and suitable for test data, salts and tokens.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
