Sort Delimited Words
Sort a string of words separated by a delimiter (comma, pipe, semicolon…) and join them back with the same or a different delimiter.

About this tool
Keyword lists, CSV cells, enum definitions and configuration values are often one long delimited string. This tool splits it on the delimiter you specify, sorts the pieces naturally and alphabetically, optionally dedupes and trims them, and joins the result with the original or a new delimiter.
To work on one item per line instead, use Commas to New Lines and then Sort Text Lines.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use a multi-character delimiter?
Yes, any string works, for example " - " or "::".
How do I sort tags or keywords?
Paste the comma-separated list, keep the comma as delimiter and enable "trim" so spaces after commas do not affect the order.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
