About this tool
Some workflows simply need PNG: design tools, document systems, print pipelines or a transparent background. The Image to PNG converter decodes JPEG and WebP files in your browser and writes them back as PNG, either palette-reduced (256, 128 or 64 colours, with optional dithering) to keep files small or lossless, keeping transparency where it exists, with a download per file and a .zip for the batch.
For smaller files use the Image Compressor or convert to WebP.

Key features of this tool
Palette or lossless
Keep files small with 256, 128 or 64 colours (ideal for graphics and screenshots) or pick lossless for exact pixels.
Files never leave your device
Reading, compressing and rewriting happen in your browser with the File API; nothing is uploaded to IPVoid.
Batch friendly
Up to 25 files at once, each row has its own download link and the whole batch can be saved as a .zip archive.
Frequently asked questions
Why can a PNG be larger than the JPEG?
JPEG is lossy and compact; a lossless PNG keeps every pixel and photos grow several times in size. The default 256-colour palette keeps the file small; choose Lossless only when exact colours matter.
Is quality improved?
No, converting cannot recover detail lost by JPEG compression; it only changes the container.
Are animated WebP files supported?
Only the first frame is converted.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
