About this tool
A PDF usually remembers who created it, with which software and when, in its document information dictionary and often in an XMP packet as well. The PDF Metadata Viewer scans the file locally and lists those fields, plus the PDF version, an approximate page count and whether the file is encrypted, so you know what a document discloses before sending it on.
Clean it with the PDF Metadata Remover.

Frequently asked questions
Some fields are missing although the viewer shows them
PDFs since version 1.5 may store the information dictionary inside compressed object streams, which this lightweight parser cannot decompress. A note tells you when that is the case.
What is the difference between Info and XMP?
The Info dictionary is the classic set of fields; XMP is an XML packet with richer metadata added by Adobe products and many converters. Both can reveal names and software.
Is the file uploaded?
No. The PDF is read with the File API in your browser; nothing is sent to IPVoid.
