About this tool
Designers hand over SVGs, but e-mail clients, old CMSs and many apps still want bitmaps. The SVG to PNG Converter renders the vector file with your browser's own engine at the scale or pixel width you choose, optionally trims the transparent margins, and returns a PNG with a live preview, without uploading the file anywhere.
Related: Image Compressor and Base64 to Image.
How to use it — quick steps
- 01
Add the SVG file
Drop the file on the dashed area or choose it from your device; a new file replaces the previous one.
- 02
Choose the size
Pick a scale factor (1× to 4×) or set the exact width in pixels; the height follows the aspect ratio.
- 03
Press "Convert to PNG"
The browser renders the drawing, shows a preview on a checkerboard and offers the PNG download.
Key features of this tool
Exact sizing
Scale the original dimensions or set a pixel width; the viewBox and aspect ratio are respected and transparency is kept.
Trim option
Removes fully transparent margins so icons and logos come out tightly cropped with no extra whitespace around them.
Files never leave your device
Reading, compressing and rewriting happen in your browser with the File API; nothing is uploaded to IPVoid.
Frequently asked questions
The output is blank or incomplete
SVGs that reference external images, fonts or stylesheets cannot load them inside the browser sandbox; embed the resources in the SVG first. Scripts inside SVG files are never executed.
What size is used when the SVG has no width?
The viewBox dimensions; if there is no viewBox either, 512 × 512 is assumed. Set a width to control it precisely.
Can I get a JPEG instead?
This tool produces PNG to keep transparency; run the result through the Image Compressor to get a JPEG.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
