About this tool
Every platform wants its own dimensions, and batch-resizing by hand is tedious. Resize Image processes up to 25 pictures in your browser: choose a social media or generic preset or type a custom size, then decide how the image should fit, keeping the aspect ratio, letterboxing with cinema-style bars, stretching, or cropping with one of nine anchors. Each file keeps its original format and can be downloaded alone or in a .zip.
Shrink the results further with the Image Compressor.

Frequently asked questions
What does "anchor" mean when cropping?
The part of the picture that is kept: anchor top-center keeps the top edge and trims the bottom, anchor center trims equally on both sides, and so on.
What if I enter only a width?
The height is computed from the original ratio; the same applies when only a height is given.
Is quality lost?
Downscaling is done with high-quality resampling; JPEG and WebP are re-encoded at quality 92, PNG stays lossless. Upscaling cannot add detail.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
