About this tool
CSV files are everywhere and nowhere easy to read: spreadsheets reformat them, editors show a wall of commas. The CSV Preview parses the data in your browser with a proper RFC 4180 parser and renders a sortable, searchable table with sticky headers, horizontal scrolling for wide exports, column toggles, paging for big files, a full-screen mode and a copy of the rows you filtered. Nothing is uploaded, so customer exports and logs can be opened safely.
Convert the values with Commas to New Lines or extract columns of e-mails and IPs with the extractor tools.

Key features of this tool
Real table, not plain text
Quoted fields, embedded commas and line breaks are parsed correctly; wide files scroll horizontally with a sticky header.
Sort, search, hide
Numeric-aware sorting on any column, instant search across all visible fields and per-column show/hide.
Copy what you filtered
Copy the visible rows back as clean CSV, for example after searching for one customer.
Frequently asked questions
Which separators are supported?
Comma, semicolon, tab (TSV) and pipe; the separator is detected from the first lines or can be chosen explicitly.
How large a file can I open?
Several megabytes are fine; the table is paged 500 rows at a time so even 100,000-row files stay responsive.
Are formulas or formatting shown?
No, CSV has neither; the raw cell values are shown as text, with numbers sorted numerically.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
