About this tool
Flip Image mirrors a picture horizontally, vertically or both on a canvas in your browser, shows a live preview as you toggle the options, and downloads the result in the original format with no quality loss in the geometry. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use it — quick steps
- 01
Add the image
Drop a PNG, JPEG or WebP file on the dashed area or choose it; a new file replaces the previous one.
- 02
Tick the flips
Horizontal gives a mirror image, vertical turns it upside down; both together rotate it by 180°.
- 03
Press "Flip image"
The preview shows the result at once and the download link gives you the file in its original format.
Key features of this tool
Live preview
Change a checkbox and the preview re-renders immediately, so you can compare before downloading.
Lossless geometry
Pixels are only moved, never resampled; PNG stays lossless and JPEG/WebP are re-encoded at quality 92.
Files never leave your device
Reading, compressing and rewriting happen in your browser with the File API; nothing is uploaded to IPVoid.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between flipping and rotating?
Flipping mirrors the picture along an axis (text reads backwards); rotating turns it. Use Rotate Image for 90° turns.
Why would I mirror a photo?
Selfies from front cameras are often mirrored; flipping restores the real orientation. Designers also flip assets to face the other way.
Is EXIF kept?
No, the image is re-encoded from pixels and metadata is dropped.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
