About this tool
Add Music to Video gives a clip a new soundtrack in your browser: FFmpeg copies the video stream untouched and replaces the audio with the MP3, WAV or M4A you choose, looped to the video length or ending with the song. Ideal for screen recordings, product clips and social videos.

Key features of this tool
Video copied, not re-encoded
Only the audio is encoded (AAC, or Opus for WebM), so the picture stays identical and the job is fast.
Loop or cut
A short track can be looped seamlessly to cover the whole video, or the video can end with the music.
FFmpeg in your browser
The real FFmpeg, compiled to WebAssembly and loaded on first use (about 30 MB, then cached); files are processed locally and never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I keep the original audio and mix the music in?
Not in this tool: the music replaces the existing track. Extract the original audio first if you need it.
What if the music is longer than the video?
The output ends with the video; the music is cut there.
Why is the first use slow?
FFmpeg (about 30 MB) is downloaded the first time and cached; after that it starts in a second or two. Encoding itself runs on one CPU core, so long videos take a while.
Are my files or data uploaded?
No. The tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser; the files or data you provide here are never uploaded to our servers.
